Spinal Trauma & Tumors
Urgent, highly specialized care when you need it the absolute most.
"When dealing with a fractured spine or a spinal tumor, time and precision are everything. Our goal is twofold: immediately stabilize the spine to prevent catastrophic paralysis, and remove the compression on the spinal cord safely."
Is this right for you?
You might be a candidate for this procedure if you are experiencing:
- Severe back or neck pain following a fall, accident, or trauma.
- Sudden onset of weakness, numbness, or loss of bowel/bladder control.
- A diagnosed primary or metastatic tumor compressing the spinal cord.
How I Perform This Surgery
Treatment is highly individualized. For fractures, we often use minimally invasive percutaneous screws to stabilize the bones without large incisions. For tumors, we perform delicate microsurgical resections to free the spinal cord, often working alongside oncologists for a comprehensive treatment plan.
