Complex Scoliosis Deformity Correction

Restoring spinal balance in a 15-year-old.

Patient Presentation

A 15-year-old female presented with a severe progressive spinal curve (Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis) measuring 65 degrees. She had visible shoulder asymmetry and rib prominence.

Surgical Solution

Dr. Parihar utilized advanced neuromonitoring and pedicle screw instrumentation to safely correct the curve and fuse the spine in a balanced position.

Outcome

Post-operative X-rays showed excellent correction to less than 15 degrees. The patient gained 2 inches in height and was walking independently by day 3.
