Severe Sciatica Cured via Endoscopic Discectomy

Patient returned to work within 3 days.

Patient Presentation

A 35-year-old male presented with severe right leg radiating pain (sciatica) and numbness. MRI confirmed a massive L4-L5 disc herniation compressing the nerve root.

Surgical Solution

Dr. Rohan Parihar performed a Transforaminal Endoscopic Discectomy under local anesthesia. The herniated fragment was removed through a 8mm incision.

Outcome

The patient experienced immediate pain relief on the operating table and was discharged the same evening. He returned to his desk job in 3 days.
